Interactive Art is art in
which the visitor can participate with his whole body. Besides
being emotionally "moved" as in viewing a beautiful
painting, one may cause the art to move or move along with
it. Equally technological and spiritual, the participatory
art of Sandra Wasko-Flood pushes the boundaries of perception
bringing the meditative and transformative dynamics of the
labyrinth and spiral symbols into the 21st century.
The Light
Installations--"Dance
of the Labyrinth," "Elements to Light Your Way,"
and "Reflected Elements"-- consist of rooms with
glass light boxes on the walls, but also on the floor where
they are designed to walked. The Kinetic
Photo Sculpture , is composed
of rotating "Pillars of Light" and "Wheels
of Light" that can be turned.
